Regarding what you said: "The blood test was positive but that could have been from the previous infections. Once the Lyme test is positive it stays positive for life so it is not much help in diagnosing new infections. The Drs have to make an informed guess in making a diagnosis - depending on symptoms, exposure and the rashes." - - that is exactly what we've been wondering.
His symptoms seem to match Lyme, but going on Antibiotics
is harsh if unnessarily... gosh, I thought if Igenex blood test showed positive 5 rings - that's it, should be treated! But maybe it always shows that way once you have it from the past!!???
He now got prescribed Cholestyramine to "sop up" the residual toxins from the liver flush. Seems to help a lot. Along with high dose Vit.C, about 20GM/day.
