My friend has Kombucha tea bags and I'd like to start making my own kombucha tea at home... Can I grow a starter from the tea I make with the tea bags or something related to the tea bags?

This is a reply to # 1,690,840I've never heard of kombucha tea bags, but I kind of doubt that you could grow a good culture from them. Enjoy the tea you make from the kombucha tea bags but consider getting a kombucha SCOBY to make your own kombucha. I just found this web site last night.
