3 days ago I changed my vegetarian diet of light whole wheats, beans, nuts, grains, fruits, cooked or raw vegetables - i had sometimes eaten cheese, milk, and eggs as well as some white Sugar
- to a diet of just raw fruits and light vegetables and juice. I plan on withholding this diet for the rest of my life, with an addition of wheat grass and sprouts.
Today I had planned to start a short 3-5 day water fast, to go with the phase of the full moon, and help cleanse my body for superior health. Yesterday, I had gotten my period - it is not incredibly heavy, but definitely not light either. I need some input on whether or not I should start my Water Fast
anyways? Or if I should continue light fruit and fruit juices and start the Water Fast
after the period. Is it healthy to Water Fast
during menses, as your body is cleansing toxins out anyways? Or is it unhealthy because there is vitamin loss during menstruation?
