Hello,
The MegaFood company has a great 50 billion probiotic, but has S. Cerevisiae in it. They claim it shouldn't be an issue for candida. Here's what they state:
"Saccharomyces cerevisiae, or nutritional yeast, is a nourishing whole food and not a pathogenic yeast. It does not cause the growth or proliferation of Candida or other yeast infections. In fact, S. cerevisiae produces anti-fungal compounds that inhibit the growth of pathogenic micro-organisms such as Candida and E. Coli. If you experience Candida, MegaFood products will help support your body’s return to a healthy harmonious balance."
What do you think?
Also I posted my confusion on whether or not I have candida or Lyme.
-original post-
How can I tell aside from testing, that what I have is a Candida Overgrowth and not Lyme Disease?
Seems the two are very similar with symptoms...
I don't recall ever having the bullseye rash, nor do I believe I have ever been bitten by a tick.
New research I've read on several different sites seem to say the bacteria that causes Lyme Disease can even be transmitted with unprotected sex. I also live in Northeast US, increasing my chances.
Please let me know what you think if you have experience with Lyme Disease patients.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH
