Here is an example of the determination of two Hispanic guys to make their own money and not take freebies from the government !

Every day Carlos and Juan would go down to the parkway and stand in the islands with their cardboard signs.

They did this for 6 hours a day - every day !

At the end of each day, Juan would have somewhere between 40 and 50 dollars...give or take, but Carlos always had a suitcase of $10 dollar bills.

This went on for about 2 weeks - every other day they would swap ends of the island where they went so as to be fair, but Juan never had more than 40 or 50 dollars at the end of the day..and Carlos always had a suitcase full of $10 dollar bills.

Finally, one day Juan screams I do not understand this, I go the same time you go - I stay as long as you stay - I work just as hard as you do - yet I never have any where close to what you have at the end of the day.

Carlos feeling sorry for his friend, ask to see Juan's sign ! Immediately he told Juan, " Your sign is your problem, Amigo ! "

Juan ask Carlos to explain.

Carlos says " All your sign says is - Out of work - with wife and 6 kids - please help " !

Juan ask to see Carlos sign.......Carlos says OK....He pulls it out and it reads....." I only need 10 more dollars - for bus fare back to Mexico ! "
