As I read these posts, I just cry for you. With each tear I thank God for answers, for health, and balance of Body, Mind, and Spirit. I thank him for your strength and peace of mind as you help your son.
Please don't think about any negative possibilities. You are surrounded by prayer, love, and light. Focus on the positive. I once knew a lady with late stage aggressive cancer who attributed her total healing to one statement made several times a day. "Thank you God for my healing." Prayer is very powerful, and you have our prayers, you have our love, and you have our concern.
Please accept this virtual hug..........
Oh freya........ My heart goes out to you. That is exactly how I pray and I will keep you and Alex in my prayers several times a day.
True........ But you know....... Some trials are just too much. And this is a complicated subject, because although when you get to the other side, you have learned a lesson, benefitting from spiritual growth, strengthening of character, and so forth......... But the lessons we have to learn during these trials can sometimes come close to breaking our very spirit. Almost like a spiritual childbirth to get to the other side. Extremely painful.
Amen to that High on Water....... "Unless you walk in my shoes......." The best thing we can do is to offer love and support.
Big hugs to you.....
Some trials do come dangerously close to breaking our spirit, but somehow, through it all, we find that last remnant of strength which makes it possible to go on, even though we feel as though we are hanging from a frayed rope, clinging for our very lives.
I can only imagine what you are going through. Yet, hang on. Sometimes acceptance of an impossible situation brings a sense of peace. Right now there is nothing you can do about it. So here comes the fine balance. Accept it, let it go, and yet be there for him in all the ways that you can. Let love replace all fear, even anger, and address it from this perspective. I can only imagine how wearing this is on you. Rest when you need to, but please make sure that you nurture yourself. As you gain strength and peace of mind, you will be able to help Alex in ways that you may not even be aware. There will be an end to this storm, don't let it batter you down.
I have you and Alex in my prayers.
