Yeah I hope the solar flare theory is wrong too. But I think there might be something to it. Have you heard of the Orion Project? It's based on the fact that the sun's equator spins faster (or slower) than the polar region. As a result this kind of winds up the sun and it releases or snaps back eventually. This causes a lot of sun spots and/or flares. Big ones. And guess when the next time for this is? You know it, 2012.
Also, I think it's supposed to cause a magnetic shift. And if the sun shifts, you know the Earth will. And right now we have the Atlantic anommaly. This is where there's a huge region in the Atlantic between Africa and South America where it's magnetically north instead of south. Plus we have all the fish beaching themselves, which in a lot of cases is supposed to be caused by the magnetics shifting and causing them to do this. Plus I was watching a
Science show that said the Earth has had magnetic shifts many times. (thousands possibly) And according to them we're past due.
Who knows for sure, but I can't count it out, I know that. One thing nice about it is we'll probably go fast. Can't complain about that can we? ;-)
See ya Pez! I'll upload those books tomorrow morning hopefully.
