and oh yes thanks again :)

From your question the answer would be Electro-magnetic Energy à la Moreless.
I would tend to say that this “vital energy” could be what is called Ki / Chi / Qi / Prana / Vital Force / Bio-energy / Orgone Energy ... This kind of energy might be different than what we consider electro-magnetic energy.

Universal Life Force Energy - Chi / Prana / Ki etc.
The living body, human or animal, radiates warmth and energy. This energy is the lifeforce itself, and has as many names as there are civilisations.
The Taoists call life-force energy Chi (Qi) and charted its movement through the body. Indian yoga adepts call it Prana and used it for healing. In the West, Dr. Wilhelm Riech discovered the same energy and called it Orgone energy. Riech felt this creative energy was the basis of life and could sometimes be seen in the sky as blue or white balls of energy. The Chinese, Hindus, and Dr. Riech all taught their students the benefits of arousing this energy and moving it throughout the spine and brain.
This energy life force is known as Mana (polynesia), Prana (India), Ruach in hebrew, Barraka in islamic countries, and Ch'i in China. Some individual healers have called it Animal Magnetism, Archaeus. In Japan the energy is called Ki and it from this word that Reiki is named.
What is Qi?
The ancients considered Qi to represent the mutual relationship, mutual effect, mutual support, mutual exchange, mutual replenishment, mutual correction, mutual transformation and mutual renewal of all things in the universe.
According to ancient qigong materials, qi originates from all things, and all things has qi. In the course of every object, it inevitably involves matter, therefore, all things can result in the creation of qi and in the exchange of qi. Humans can cultivate and practice qigong amongst all things, be able to gather qi from all things, and integrate the qi of our body with the qi of all things in the world, in order to enhance health and adjust many things. Translated from "Dr. Yan Xin in North America", p. 207.
We are like fish in water. Fish don't know they are in water until you take them out of it!
Likewise many of us don't know we have Chi until we impede it's flow and become ill.
To become healthy we not only have to consider our flow of Chi but also we must be careful of the food* that we eat, the air that we breathe and the thoughts that we have.
Feng shui is concerned with the flow of chi in your enviromnent
Basically there are three main sources of prana / chi:
solar prana
air prana
ground prana.
Solar - from sunlight, - invigorating and promotes good health - through sunbathing
Air - absorbed into lungs through breathing and is absorbed by the energy centers of the bioplasmic body. The energy centers are called chakras. More Air prana can be absorbed by deep, slow, rythmic breathing than by short, shallow breathing. It can also be absorbed through thr pores of the skin by persons who have undergone certain training.
Ground Prana - this is absorbed through the soles of the feet. This is done automatically, unconsciously. Walking barefoot increases the amount of ground prana absorbed by the body. One can learn to consciously draw in more ground prana and increase one's vitality, capacity to do more work, and ability to think more clearly.
Certain trees such as pine trees or old and gigantic healthy tress exude a lot of excess prana. Tired or sick people can benefit by lying down or resting underneath these trees. Better results can be obtained by verbally requesting the being of the tree to help the sick person get well. Anyone can also learn to consciously learn to absorb chi from these trees through the palms, such as the body would tingle and become numb because of the tremendous amount of prana absorbed. This skill can be acquired after only a few sessions of practise.
During bad weather conditions many people get sick; not only because of the changes in temperature, but also because of the decrease in solar and air prana (life energy). Thus a lot of people feel mentally and physically sluggish, or become susceptible to infectious diseases. This can be counter acted by consciously absoirbing prana or ki, from the air and the ground. It has been clairvoyantly observed that there is more prana during the day than night. Prana reaches a low level at about three or four in the morning

About sun gazing meditation

The body cells are photo-voltaic, just as solar panel cells are. Once you
start grooming the cells to harness the power of the sun, you can
generate the energy needed for your body from sunlight. - HRM
What is the explanation for Sun Yogi Sri Hira Ratan Manek thriving on solar energy and water? What are the implications of the HRM phenomenon for healing, spiritual enlightenment and world peace?
As an HRM Sun Yoga Facilitator, pranic healer and Qigong practitioner, I believe that the HRM phenomenon becomes possible when the primordial Qi energy supplied by the sun via the eyes and chakras is restored in the body to normal levels. Eyes are used as windows to the soul. There are four different popular hypotheses which offer an explanation for the HRM phenomenon:
According to Hira Ratan Manek, the body cells are photo-voltaic, just as solar panel cells are. Once you start grooming the cells to harness the power of the sun, you can generate the energy needed for your body from sunlight. As it is, whatever you eat are secondary sources of energy, all of them drawing their reserves from sunlight, reminds Manek.
Tapping the sun has a more long-run benefit, he says. To explain it further, he draws your attention to the human brain, which he calls a brainuter (from brain plus computer). People hardly use the full capability of their brain cells; the usage can be determined scientifically through MRI scans, he adds.
The talent that is inherent in every human being is the software of the brainuter, and the mind is its keyboard and mouse. Finally, it needs power, which comes from the sun.
This power effectively reaches the brain through the eyes, says Manek, and thus, all he requests anyone who is interested in his 'Sungazing' theory through what is now globally known as the HRM (Hira Ratan Manek) Phenomenon, is to gaze at the sun every day.
Sungazing generates Vitamin A in the body, says Manek, which would lead to enhanced sight, and prevention of many eye diseases, and cure too. He says in three months time, the body gains sound mental health, which is characterised by no fear, more self-confidence and a balanced mind. It also derides the body of evil traits like greed, anger and jealousy. All this, he asserts, have been scientifically established. Manek adds that mental wellness is the key to global peace.
Continue the practice for six months, and the sun could start healing diseases, claims Manek. He says that harnessing the energy of the sun is the essence of Reiki, Pranic Healing and even, Feng Shui. "In this, however, you don't need a third party. You do the healing yourself."
He lists a number of disease conditions including cancer, Aids, diabetes, obesity, osteoporosis and a string of mental and ageing disorders that can be addressed by solar healing.
Manek says there are countless testimonials to the efficacy of solar healing on the World Wide Web. "To prove that the earth is indeed round, took a thousand years. I therefore expect inhibitions and criticism," says Manek. But he isn't affected by skeptics because he insists he has no commercial interests. "The Solar Healing Centre in the US is a registered non-profit organisation and we only accept purely voluntary donations."
Once Sungazing is set in motion, in about two years, the body's cells react to sunlight like a solar panel, and you derive the energy your body needs without having to eat solid food. And you steadily start realising your brainuter's true potential. Manek has reached that stage now, and yet he uses only 25 per cent of his brain's capabilities.
Hunger ceases.
Unlike fasting, Sungazing is not about suppressing hunger; hunger simply ceases to be. Today, Manek isn't tempted by food. "What the mind accepts, the body accepts," he adds.
The sun can also be tapped further through safe sunbathing, only at times when the UV rays level is less than 5. He is against the in vogue style of sunbathing, which scientists have often cited to be the reason for skin cancers. "Your body must only be warm with the sun ray's; it mustn't feel the heat," says Manek.
He also advises to drink suncharged water, which is water kept in sunlight, preferably, in a glass jar for eight hours. This, when drunk within 24 hours, can be better than any energy drink in the market, he adds.
Eventually, the sun goes on to enhance neuron regeneration in the brain, which decelerates the aging process and thus enhances longevity. He says he hasn't been affected by any disease, not even a common cold, in the last few years.
He also advises walking bare-footed in the beach during the evenings or early mornings to stimulate all nerve endings of the feet, which effectively is the gist of reflexology, acupuncture and acupressure. Ultimately, solar healing is all about using the sun to give your mind an upper hand over the body. And according to Manek, the sun cures it all.
And to highlight what is essentially an Indian wisdom, Manek says he has to approach from the West, because like yoga, "the East comes to the East via the West."
