fballer and Sharan,
EDIT...I agree with Chiron: too much food too soon after your fast.
Your digestive system is unable to handle the quantity of food and so it is siting in your stomach.
This is the type of post that Hopinso and Mouseclick warned about and which I agree with: fasting is a
Science and art.
You should research on how to break your fasts correctly, and if not, then ask on the forum how to do so.
Sorry to be so blunt but this is why the forum exists.
Regarding BM's post fast...............
"Constipation is a common term applied to the failure of the bowels to act or to sluggishness of
colonic function. Most people who think they are constipated are not. They simply never give their colon an opportunity to function without some meddlesome interference. To free themselves of their imagined constipation they need only cease trying to cure it.
The prescription given by Dr Charles E Page MD (one of the early Hygienists) is almost infallible: "Mind your own business, and let the bowels mind theirs".
******************************************************
The bowels will move in their own good time.
Enervation is the chief cause of their inactivity. Remove enervation: a weakened state of nerve energy, and the bowels will return to their normal function and regularity.
Rest is the key to restore this functioning power of the body.
