I note that while the announcement of pandemic status made clear that it was only an indication of how widespread the flu is on a global basis, it also contained the rather ominous further explanation that by announcing a pandemic now it will enable us to be better prepared for this fall's flu season "when the the so-called swine flu likely will mutate to a more serious health threat", or words to that effect.
Good overall advice in your post. Since the so-called Swine Flu contains an Avian Flu element, it is especially important to include anti-virals along with good immune boosters, since an avian flu which we do not have natural antibodies for will often use our own immune systems to attack us with a cascade of cytokines which can literally eat your lungs up in an attempt to destroy a pathogen it does not recognize. Personally, I would make absolutely certain to keep plenty of good quality colloidal/ionic silver on hand for this very likely man-made influenza. If I felt that I was somehow going to be unable to avoid forced innoculation, I would probably drink a whole bottle prior to the innoculation and another one immediately upon returning home.
As a final note, beware of associations such as the American Herbal Products Association, which purport to represent the herbal supplement industry and/or serve as advocates for herbal and natural alternatives but, unlike some of the few remaining legitimate herbal advocate organizations such as the American Botanical Council, are in truth organizations largely controlled (and in some instances even created) by Big Pharma and mainstream medicine. Their true purposes are actually to discourage the use of herbal alternatives to mainstream drugs and call for stricter controls and lesser use.
The AHPA appears to be fully supported by mainstream medicine organizations such as The American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists and has links to such alternative medicine lovers as our own beloved FDA. A look at their home page might prove instuctive: http://www.ahpa.org/ with one articles about how to conduct an FDA inspection and another one advising against using dietary supplements for the swine flu.
The main ingredient of Tamiflu, btw, was derived from the natural Star Anise plant and is widely available in natural form.
