From what I have read so far, the ALA causes copper to build up. Should we be taking copper or avoiding it when on this protocol? Does the copper build up include fresh as well as oxidized? Will taking just zinc balance things out? Thanks.- Re: Copper Question Newport

Let's change that to ALA allows higher copper absorbtion.
The build up is most likely already occuring due to Heavy Metals and the inablity to quickly remove the old copper.

Depends on your ALA dose and body. Taking 12.5mg of zinc with each dose of ALA seemed to help, adding Moly to this in 500mcg worked better.
You may also consider taking Cloves since the manganese in them helps to detox copper from Liver and of course doses of Ascorbic Acid either with your chelation or throughout the day.
NOTE: Began adding Taurine to help cell detox of copper and help with Bile creation (main copper removal method) and that seems to work but a little early to tell.

Newport has some good posts on the parasite forum about copper, if you go there and do a search for it, but I think this one post in particular from Newport helped me understand the copper balance better:

Yes, that set off some alarm bells with me too.
But don't get too strict in interpretation of any or this. IMO the key to it all is the difference between bio-Available and bio-Unavailable copper.
For simplicity sake lets call bio-Unavailable oxidized copper (OCu). After seeing what IP6 does I am a firm believer that the problem is a shortage of Cu and an excess of OCu...
I believe (I read somewhere) copper is used as the oxidizer to change Iodide storage to Iodine by the thyroid so without fresh copper your endocrine system fails yet you may be loaded with OCu...

- Copper scores have proved to be a par-ticularly sensitive index in Hodgkin's disease

- I cleaned my Water Distiller and after about 100 gallons of water the drain off (mostly copper) reminded me of this: Tonights Peditox results //www.curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=1080221
Picked up the Peditox and ran it got the same result. I am now confident that copper gets stuck in the lymph nodes...

This is a reply to # 1,389,625I didn't try the ionic footbath with the zapper like you gave the link for on the parasite forum. I need to do that.. maybe that's why I can't get rid of this sore breast lymph node.
Wonder how else to move copper out of the lymph if it gets hung up there. I've been taking a homeopathic lymph drainage for over a month, along with taking the supplements for trial chelating of the oxidized copper (and taking a daily fresh source too)
Maybe the next appt with the Alt. Dr should also include his ionic foot bath.

Dr. Loyd has come up with a cheap and simple way to deal with mold toxins but after trying it and agreeing that it works well for mold I have to say that the Peditox works better. After playing with it this week and treating some family members we even noted that the water content increases during treatment...sucking it from your lymph system?

My most troubling lymph node, the one I got to spend several hours in hospital test facilites for was only fixed by running Hodgkin's frequencies from the CAFL.
It also responded to some pancreatic fluke frqs...

This is a reply to # 1,389,445Initially, I seemed to get good results with Cutler (meaning it seemed to alleviate my chronic fungal infections in the intestine). Now it doesn't seem as effective. I haven't done Newports ascorbic acid protocol for lead yet, but I'm thinking maybe lead is harder to get out as it is likely buried in the bones as years of exposure. Not sure if that will affect fungal infections, but then I suppose parasite could give you the same symptoms so you can't know for sure which is the cause. I know daily low doses of Lugols help keep it at bay but do not eliminate it entirely. It's difficult trying various things and trying to piece together the aftereffects into a diagnosis and program that will get you over the hump. Thanks for the feedback.- Re: Copper Question Newport

This is a reply to # 1,390,031The best has been to spike DMSA on days that Lead is an issue and yes, it may take several years to liberate all the lead from bones.
