I read that lentil soup helps with constipation so I finally decided to give it a try. To my surprise - it really works!
I use about 1/2 cup red lentils, cooked in 2 cups of water. When it's done I add a tablespoon of olive oil or another healthy oil, and then I add spices. Cinnamon is delicious, or turmeric/curry powder/chili powder/cumin combination. Anyways, that's just some ideas if you try this.
I've been eating a bowl of this healthy soup every evening and bowel movements have been so easy.
