I'd like to see that chart :-)
got a link?
I did a 29 day WF this summer, and am gearing up for another.
probably only a seven-8 days. i really had wanted to fast "to completion" but for various reasons never got to that place. But since I didn't really get that "true hunger" feeling --for me it was more like just being weary of water, and feeling weak) it took me a while to get back to swing of eating and feeling strong again. Do try to really confine yourself to doing as little as you can, in terms of heavy lifting, etc. Very easy walks in fresh air *are* encourgaged by all the old fasting masters, as is a bit of sunbathing. But mainly, rest, bathing and getting up
s-l-o-w-l-y. (edit:
you have to really watch yourself, since it's natural to have some high energy spurts, and it's hard not to get compulsive about cleaning or some such! (you will pay for such excesses by feeling whacked out afterward.)
Smell became my sense of taste, and I enjoyed a lot of 'meals' of simply handling my rose-scented geranium's leaves, as well as testing all the essential oils in the health food store--And, incense, which I normally burn anyway)
Was worried about my tongue too, and smelling cadaverous lol (though I'm not a meat eater)but it never happened. I never really even got that coated tongue. Did a lot of brushing though. just plain water--you don't want to confuse the body with anything, once it's in fasting mode.
the once exception i made to that was a small bit of extra virgin coconut oil in the bath, so that it melts and spreads. it amounted to the thinnest of coatings, when you
get up. For some reason I found that wonderful. Also, I cooked or prepared several really good meals for others, and loved doing it.
(You might want to get a tongue scraper, or just use a spoon for that, if it gets "mossy".)
best wishes. enjoy the adventure! and be gentle with yourself.
