You could flavor the water, but it wouldn't really help.
The reason has less to do with how flavoring agents would affect the fast (which in reality would be very miniscule) and much more to do with WHY you would even want to flavor water in the first place. There are only really two reason to be flavoring water during a fast.
1) You haven't overcome addiction to taste
2) Your water is of poor quality so you have to disguise it.
If your problem is option 2, then the fast is already going to have limited results because your water is polluted. If your problem is option 1, then the fast isn't really doing you any good because you haven't learned control of the body. In this case, the flavored water is just training wheels of detox, but once you start eating again you will just revert to whatever habits made you want to fast in the first place.
I really advise to try a juice fast if you really want to taste something.
