Hello everyone,
I first discovered Curezone in January ( i can't belive it's been almost a year:) I have learned so much this year about being healthy. I realized that I have been led from one thing to another on my journey to good health.
I wanted to share something that I have learned along the way. This may be so logical to you, so just indulge me for being slow to catch on :)
I have done 8
Liver Cleanses and two 7 day fasting/colon cleanses this year.
When I first started doing liver cleanses, it was all new and different. I was trying to make big changes in my eating habits. There was so much to learn.
I have learned/realized how important it is between cleanses to rebuild your body. I used to get so caught up in my cleanses. I would do a cleanse and wait the two weeks until the next time. I did change my eating habits, so I was eating better than I used to, but my focus was still on cleansing.
I have since changed my focus to rebuilding my body. Cleansing is so very important, but in between you need to focus on rebuilding your organs. You can do this by diet, herbs, and exercise.
I am going to do another liver cleanse soon and
Colon Cleanse in the New Year. In the meantime, I am taking herbs to build up my liver and spleen. I am eating healthier foods and realize how important good food is for the nourishment of my body. I have gotten a rebounder that I use to exercise and keep my lymph system moving along through out my body.
I have been getting theraputic massages to also help with my clogged systems. I go to a Chinese herbalist now to rebuild my body, instead of a doctor who will prescribe medicines to treat a symptom but not the cause. I also use theraputic grade essential oils to help with different ills that crop up (headaches, burns, croup for my son, sprains, etc.).
The journey of cleansing is such an important one. It gets you started on the right path. But it is so important to continue on that path by rebuilding your internal organs. Your heart, liver, pancreas, lungs and kidneys need attention between cleanses. By nourishing these vital organs you will also help heal their complimentary organs:
Heart:small intestine Liver: gallbladder Pancreas: stomach, spleen Lungs: large intestine (colon) and Kidneys: bladder. Choose one of your vital organs to focus one. There is no telling how long it will take to rebuild. It depends on the damage done over the years with bad food choices and other toxins that have entered your body. The important thing is to keep going forward daily.
I have learned so much this year. I love sharing what I have learned with my friends. They do not always want to know. They are happy choosing the doctor/medicine/surgery route. I guess I should not say happy, because they are usually complaining of aches and pains or worse. But, that is their choice. I have made mine. I would not want to go backwards anymore than they are ready to go forward.
There is a quote from a book that I read this year that I really like and want to share. The book is called, "Feelings Buried Alive Never Die" by Karol Truman
"It would be wise for us to remember as we lead and guide the lives of our children (or anyone else for that matter) that we can't expect them to accept our knowledge, understand what we understand, or be where we are now in our knowledge and understanding. They simply don't have our points of reference. We can guide them to correct principles, but we need to allow them their own experiences and to grow at their own speed.
Our purpose in their lives is to guide, enlighten and direct rather than control.
A good guide to go by is: Don't want something for someone else, more than THEY want it for themselves!
If we sincerely desire to assist in lifting and building others, THE GREATEST EXAMPLE WE CAN GIVE ANYONE IS OUR LIFE WORKING FOR US."
Love,
Tisha
