Hi,

Last year I quit my med's and decided to go the natural way. I am 31 and was diagnosed with Bi polar when I was only 15.

I am a rapid cycler and have always been in a constant cycle with mixed states (The worst for of the disorder).


Great News !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm ok no crisis or hospitalization. In fact I am more stable and got married 7 months ago and things are going good there too.

I decided to go off med's for many reasons

#1 Side effects became worse than the disorder
#2 I gained 100 lbs in 8 months taking Zyprexa and was offered only $2,300 settlement
#3 I was never ever stable on any cocktail I took and I have been medicated since I
was 8 years old.


The bad news....... I am not cured. I still suffer from Depression and mania but on a lesser scale and the first 3 months of detox was extremely difficult.
I was taking 800mg Zyprexa / 40 mg Prozac / 4mg Lorazepam per day.


More Good News....

I had a plan and it’s not finished yet and that was to improve my mental health by fixing my physical and spiritual health.
I have not yet accomplished my goals it has been a long process of getting rid of the old and bringing in the new.
So far


* I do not take any Prescriiption meds unless it is an emergency
* I use no chemical cleaners in my home
* I clean my own water with a distiller (goodbye fluoride )
* I use natural beauty products
* No artificial foods, preservatives , hormones
* Increased level of Organic fruits and veggies
* I pray allot (#1)

I still have so much more that will dramatically improve my health like quitting smoking, complete detox, adding natural herbs, excursive and eating a diet of at least 50% raw foods that are mostly organic.

I think the next year will bring me to as close to cured as it can get.
