I am currently doing my MBA at Leicester University so I'm not a total lay-about or anything.

I have been here 12 years. My best friend in Canada is so jealous I live here.
I visit Canada every summer so that I can see everybody. I'm just stuck in the UK because I can't work in Canada because my son is disabled. I have dual citizenship so I am also British so I get welfare off the government. The amount of money they give you over here on benefits is crazy!!!
I have worked over the years as an economic/political writer but now I'm trying to get my MBA so that when I move back to Canada I can get a good job.
My heart is in Canada!

I suppose i can't blame you for taking advantage of the situation, and i'm sorry about your son being disabled but your post actually got my back right up. You are using our welfare system, and our education system and then want to run back to Canada. I was quite offended, saying you are stuck here, but you are quite willing to take what is on offer.
You are one of many however, but it annoys us tax payers that have been here all our lives. That is all i'm going to say on the matter- Re: Loosie-off topic Loosie
