Hello everybody sorry I haven't been here lately. I am going to be setting up my own web-site about being against Mirena!!! We really need to rally together and get this thing off the market. I have been talking to friends here in Florida and they have friends and relatives being pushed into using Mirena. Even as young as 15!!! It has been nine weeks since my Doc removed the IUD, still in a lot of pain. He told me to push through it and stretch it out! What does he know??? I told him he ought to try and run or even walk with this kind of pain. He also asked me if I was done having kids and I said I wasn't sure. Then he was like "Do you think we should take everything out?" I said NO, I am not ready for someone to take my options away from me. He then preceded to tell me that I should be pregnant within 6 months. If at that time I am not yet pregnant we will take it from there. Seems to me he is trying desperately to cover his BUTT! We aren't quite ready for another little one yet. I feel as though he is trying to push it along, like its now or never type of issue. I was wondering if anyone else has been told this? He also told me that due to the cyst and infection caused by the IUD that I will not produce egg from my left ovary. It is trashed!! He fully disclosed that the IUD was the root of all of my problems!! Looking forward to hearing from you, Thanks for listening Michelle
