yeah, some yahoo probably left it outside on the loading dock too long or the refrig unit wasnt' cold enough in the truck. i've had pasturized half and half go bad before it's date aplenty.(and we can go through that stuff pretty darn quick too, so it doesn't really sit around in our fridge.)
i would be surprised if it happened again.
