Hi Everybody,
I got out of the hospital yesterday. It seems I have two cysts that got infected and became abcessed. I was put on two heavy Antibiotics for 48 hours and ultrasound after ultrasound. I go back in for a check up in two weeks (provided all goes well) and they will determine if I need surgery at that point. I really want to thank you all for your support and prayers through this. That's good news, Michelle! Mirena is known to cause cysts in 10-12% of the users.... It must have been very painful to get an infection on them. I've had a cyst too, which was becoming too large, and the doctor had to remove it surgically. It wasn't infected though. I hope everything will be allright! Take care,
