First I had an ultrasound at 11am and had the Mirena removed at2pm. My doc had not received the ultrasound results, just a fax with some unclear info. My doc was extremely concerned?! He put me on a heavy Antibiotic and pain medication. I have an infection for sure and he said he did not want it to spread to other parts of my body. When I mentioned that the Mirena Pamphlet says that 12% of Mirena users get ovarian cysts my doc said "No it is more like 50%". My jaw hit the floor!!! Now it seems I have a cyst but won't be sure until I get the ultrasound results back. My pain is still intense and my mind is still racing. What if this thing screwed up my whole reproduction system. I still won't be able to sleep tonight even though that thing is finally out of me. As far as a class action lawsuit goes count me in. I am definately calling an attorney in the morning. Had I known all of the details I wouldn't have done it. I bet that is why Berlex never disclosed all of the side effects because they wouldn't have sold one!!!
