i dont think its to late to undo whats been done to the planet. we have waited to long to make recycling mandatory. every building should have recycling bins, my apartment does not.
for the longest time i been thinking bottles and boxes should be returned to the stores to speed up recycling. i remember they use to take the plastic bags but i dont know what they did with them.
we should be against large packaging just to prevent theft.
we should not upgrade just cause people on tv say its time to
we could save alot if we use what we have
NO new cars No new computers No new Cell Phone No new cameras No new tvs
what ever country you live in should rely on itself for its people needs. imports and exports should be limited.
when i read over some population control pages i saw how much people really do hate americas wasteful ways. most electronics are made out of the country, i dont know where the packaging is done but its way to much.
its like we are paying other countries to trash this one with our waste.
people that litter make me sick, really i feel nauseous

This is a reply to # 1,110,075Consumption is a big problem... however larger than that is the paving and deforestation of the earth... we are literally suffocating ourselves. MH has discussed this.
Stop paving...
I live in a desert... even here, with water run off only (my desert is becoming more so due to mans building\paving\steeling of resources), a man has built up 4 foot of top soil in his yard in just 4 years. He grows over 200 different edible plants on a rather small residential piece of land.
He auctioned off salad for eight from his yard last year and it went for $700! He also supplies some very particular restaurants and chefs with the foods... all bio-dynamic and organic; and all off of this small piece of land (less than 1/2 acre with the house on it!).
We can reverse the trend without giving up too much in comforts... question is do collectively have what it takes? My guess is no.
It could be all turned around in four years if everyone, including the military got involved. The military could replant the deforested areas of our national and state lands. We would have to quit manipulating the weather too...
Plant, plant, plant... that is a start... you will oxygenate and help repair your immediate surroundings.

I recently picked up the book "Perfect Weight" for free with a purchase of any Garden of Life product at my local Vitamin Shoppe. I haven't had much time to read it. Inside the book is information about a company that can help you make your own organic garden with a limited amount of space.

if its hot outside, chances are the sun is up, a solar panel could cool of the homes, instead of using the power company. i looked up solar panels i know how it works but i dont know how to do it.
where are the bees? last year when i came back to my car there was a dying bee in the seat. thats the only bee i have seen, i guess it was a sign to help anyway i can.
everyone needs to help at the same time, every little thing helps, just like talking to your plants help them grow faster, because of the exchange is gases.
everyone that has space should start a garden, i was wondering do chemtrails affect plant life? do you know?
pavement! mmmmm i really hate the concrete and pavemnt in the city, it makes me sick to see so much concrete. there needs to be more recycling centers.
have you read the predictions of the world population strain on the planet for year 2050? i was reading on

and there seems to be a plan to kill off 80% of the people. i was shocked but not much. i dont know if its a real plan, that doesnt mean we should not do whats best for the planet. its like when people clean up before they move to another place. who knows?

My guess is that all these "worries" would go away if we all buckled down and planted.
Do what you can... and perhaps it will influence and impact those around you to do the same. Lead by example...

It is about priorities... be and live life, create and be a symbiosis with all life... that is what we are here for.
As every organ and system on a macro and micro level has a purpose in your body to enable the whole, you also have purpose to influence the health of the planet, either in a positive or negative way.
Hint - recycling is not it... it takes more energy to recycle than is saved. Stop consuming... then work towards no\low impact living and self-sufficiency.

This is a reply to # 1,110,121oh come on let the people think they are doing something good. the used bottles can be used as is, and filled with things not for human consumption. i saw this young millionare used all kinds of bottles to fill ship and sell his worm waste for use in gardens.
when i say recycle i dont mean clean, melt, remold plastic, lol, i would not do that.
i feel like getting the land ready today. i live in an apartment but i can use the land at my moms house and granny land next door, im sure she will love to sit watch her grand daughter and great grand daughter doing something she use to do.
how can we be agaisnt the extra packaging of these products? some say made in china then it has a US address. what should we do? they dont listen to one person....
when i say recycle i mean reuse as is...ok
i know its not just the bees, i dont have cable and will not get cable in 02/09

No, it is a lie and the truth must be said and known...
Your proposal to recycle them at home and eliminate excess packaging is probably the very best way to start conserving. As a consumer, we should not have to pay for excess packaging, or "pretty" packaging for that matter.
Like ethanol which uses 1.5 gallons of petroleum to create 1 gallon of ethanol... and the ethanol being less efficient at energy creation ta boot... bad science, bad investment... along with all that we get massive growth in the Genetically-Modified-Organisms industry along with higher grain prices across the board... this is a lose - lose situation. Not good.
I cut the grass... but I mulch, I do not bag and trash... bad move that. If I ever totally re-landscape, it will be with indigenous edible plants. I have already started doing this in a section of the yard.

if i find some gov organization to support i will do that.
i dont trust people 100% esp those with power.
we can do it for our selves, i am not talking about the cults that plan their end or whatever they do.
i dont do anything by force, its not comforting to be forced, we need to do something before we are forced. ive heard all about the plans to limit power use in californicate. lol i must get a laugh in where ever i can sorry:>
people are so independent in the US, as cheap as the bus is every one wants a car in the city.
i dont want to scare anyone but if they even saw the plans for the future it would terrorize them. after the shock we can get started.
