Is there any reason we have to make the solution in a galleon of distilled water.
Can we use less water and use less calcium hydroxide.
I can't get distilled water here unless i get it from a garage, they use it in cars, but don't know if it is right for our use of it. Probably only small quantities, need to look into it.
Anyway, someone suggested using mineral less water from the supermarket as a substitute. This would need to be shaken if not suspended in distilled water (is that correct?).
Having back problems, i'm not lifting a galleon drum to shake it. And also when it gets lower down in the drum/jar it would have to be lifted and tilted to get any out.
Wouldn't it be easier to make smaller quantities of it, or is there a particular reason making it in this quantity?
Also does the container matter, i've asked this before and didn't get an answer from anyone. Does the solution have to be in a glass container, can it be a plastic container?
Thanks for your help
