Is there anyway I can prevent an absolutely massive cyst on my face from scarring?
Is there any way to heal this thing without it rupturing?
It grows everyday. It started out about the size of a pea, then it grew to about the size of an olive...now it is like an acorn!
It is so large that it is stretching and pulling the skin down on my face and so painful that I can barely touch it.
I am wondering how big this thing is going to get!!
All of this when I have been so careful of my diet for years. I just don't understand anything anymore...

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,049,379Apply hot compresses as often as possible. Do not touch the cyst or try to squeeze it. The heat should help bring it to a head and eventually help it drain without applying pressure to the cyst. This may take several days, but stay with it. Cystic Acne is not nesessarily caused by diet. Hormone imbalances are a common reason for the cysts.

Skin problems are more common then you think, and anyone can have hormonal problems, regardless of sex or age. You need to keep an open mind to what is causing your problem. You seemed to have ruled some obvious things out - your problem(s) could be caused by something that you might never think would be possible. - Plasticat #69242

At one point you gave us the name of what you though you were suffering from and told us to look it up, but it would be very helpful if you could find some pictures on the internet that come closest to what your skin looks like and post them here so we can see. Dowmload the pic(s) to your desktop and when you make the post on curezone there are instructions above the text box on how to upload the photo and put it on your post.

This is a reply to # 1,049,379Sounds like Facial Cysts with Ingrown Hair.
I have seen less cratering if the cyst it cut and the roots of the hair scraped out before it makes a big puss head that causes a scater from the skin rot up to the surface.

If it is regular cyst, you must be sure the skin enveloped cyst is scraped out to prevent it from reforming again. The bag that holds the cyst must be removed from under the flesh.

used to have Acne as a teenager. Bad Acne I think.
I was from the first ones I learned about mastrubation at age 12.
When I saw another one with Acne I new has learned about mastrubation.
Acne problems resolved as soon as I initiated sex.

This is a reply to # 1,049,379I don't know if this will help, but one of my office mates mother just got rid of two huge recurring boils by applying Iodine, Castor Oil and heat. Iodine applied externally is supposed to revitalize skin cells. There is colorless Iodine (I think at Walmart), but it contains an alcohol base, so I don't know if this would be harmful or not.
I know you are still searching for answers. I know it much be frustrating, but I admire your perserverence and willingness to keep asking questions.

This is a reply to # 1,049,734I have one as well. Yikes! I´m currently trying castor oil, applied on gauze and covered with a band aid. So far, I think it´s working, the cyst appears to be decreasing in size. It's slow, however I do think in time it will work, and don't think it could be harmful.
