Good diet and exercise may be enough for some people, but not for everybody   by #56153   19 year 2 of 2 (100%)

There are many reasons why people choose to cleanse bowel.  Beside being a way of quick evacuation of accumulated feces, different forms of enema can also help bring remedies directly to the bowel, like in case of using different forms of therapeutic enema.
Here are a few reasons why people use herbal bowel cleansers,
P&B Shakes, enemas, colema, colonics, ...

"Colon cleanse" or "Bowel Cleanse" or "Intestinal Cleanse" or Intestinal Therapy are terms referring to a procedure (or a therapy) that as a main goal have healthy bowel and healthy bowel flora!.

To learn about Cleansing Intestines, please read the next articles:

Enema:

Real "bowel cleanse" can take from 3 - 4 weeks up to a year, depends on person.
Hey, don't give up immediately ! Very few people may need years !

Most people may get some results in one month. Of course, there are many products out there that use names like "colon cleanse" or "bowel cleanse" or "Intestinal Cleanse" or Cleanser, or ...   What can I say, it is a very good marketing strategy.
BUT !  Real "bowel cleanse" usually is not just a single product. It is rather a procedure that may include use of many different products, and few days or weeks of FASTING.

Does Bowel Cleanse need to be an expensive product? No. Take a  series of enema, add some probiotics into water, add some salt, .. experiment with some other herbs, and you will get great results. Or, try Lemonade Diet . It is cheap, but it takes some determination.

Intestinal cleansing usually involves fasting (but not always), drinking a lot liquids (advisable), like freshly pressed vegetable juices or lemonade,  doing at least once a day enema, oral or anal enema, or using colonic irrigation equipment like colema, and it may include drinking Bentonite clay, taking coffee enema.

More often then not, Bowel Cleanse mean taking some products that may include bentonite, ingredients (herbs) that are known to kill parasites and worms, containing digestive enzymes, containing Probiotics (beneficial bacteria), containing herbs that stimulates liver, gallbladder and intestines, containing products that kill candida, containing active carbon,  also psyllium husk or seeds, or flax seeds, or slippery elm, or whatever ...

Also, Dr.Budwig diet (cottage cheese with flax seed oil) can improve bowel condition - cleanse bowel and liver.

What about herbal products?  What herbal products can w recommend?  No product works for every perosn. The only way to find the best product for you is to try more then one.  There are hundreds of different recipes !  There are hundreds of different products. New products are promoted every few months.

CureZone modertors have tried many different products and if you read their messages on forums, you will dicover what products are most popular and what products may be promissing. Lillian Henriksen have been using products by "FitLine"- "FitLine Basic PLUS". It's a powder that contains herbal extracts, digestive enzymes, soluble minerals, Probiotics, ... quite long list of ingredients.  Lillian, have had great results with it when treating her own candida problem. After 2 days on it, her candida problems disappeared. Lillian tried over 10 different bowel cleansing formulas prior to this one. Her 14 years old son passed rope of mucoid plaque already on his second day of the cleansing. (Not all people pass ropes when doing bowel cleanse!)  She has a feedback from over 30 people who are using Basic Plus and almost all of them agree that product is worth money.  That product is just an examle. There are amny products with many positive reports, like Dr.Schulze Formulas...

Should I do parasites cleanse at the same time? Yes, the best way to cleanse bowel is if you do it together with parasite killing herbs. Find more about Parasites cleanse here.

Bowel movements are the basis of your health. If you don't have at least one bowel movement per day, you are already walking your way toward diseases.

It is not important if your bowel is clean or dirty.

It is not important if you have or not mucoid plaque inside your bowel!

Everyone benefit from bowel cleanse.

It improves your health and your well being.

Especially people who have intestinal parasites, Candidiasis (Candida infection), people who suffer from allergies, underweight, digestive problems, "incurable diseases" ...

The person on a typical Western Diet holds 8 meals of undigested food and waste material in the colon, while the person on the high fiber diet holds only 3.

Everyone would greatly benefit with doing a full Bowel Cleanse at least once per year, with ongoing colon maintenance when necessary. It is recommended that parasite Cleanse be taken at the same time as the  Bowel Cleanse. For optimum health, our objective should be to cleanse not only the colon, but all of the vital inner organs as well.

Why Cleanse the Bowel ?

A good cleansing program should always begin by removing the waste in your colon, the last portion of your food processing chain. If you attempt to clean your liver, blood, or lymph system without first addressing a waste filled bowel, the excreted toxins will only get recycled back into your body.

One of the most frequent bowel problems that people experience today is constipation. Constipation is generally attributed to a low fiber diet and lack of sufficient water, which cause our fecal matter to become condensed and compressed.

A constipated system is one in which the transition, or "time", of toxic wastes is slow and the consistency of the stool can cause strain (which over time may cause hemorrhoids, varicose veins, hiatal hernia, or other mechanically induced problems). The longer the "transit time", the longer the toxic waste matter sits in our bowel which allows proteins to putrefy, fats to rancify, and carbohydrates to ferment.

The longer your body is exposed to putrefying food in your intestines, the greater the risk of developing disease. Even with one bowel movement per day, you will still have at least three meals worth of waste matter putrefying in your colon at all times. On top of all this, your system can also become continuously self-polluting by the poisonous gases that are caused by foods you don't tolerate. These poisonous gases can enter your bloodstream, irritating your organs and joints.

Alternating between constipation and diarrhea, or diarrhea alone, are also indications of foul matter in your intestines. And finally, the much more serious problems of cancer and immune system dysfunctions begin with a toxic bowel.

The long held belief of some health professionals is that many people just have fewer bowel movements than others. This is true, but they also neglected to inform these individuals that those having fewer bowel movements are harboring a fertile breeding ground for serious diseases and possibly death. Infrequent or poor quality bowel movements over an extended period of time are very hazardous to your health.colon_poor.gif (7466 bytes)    bowel and colon cleanse, constipation

Once we truly understand the "single greatest challenge our body faces is the effective removal of wastes and toxins ", we will never again undermine the importance of frequent, high quality, bowel movements.

Gastroenterologist, Dr. Anthony Bassler, tells his colleagues, "Every physician should realize that the intestinal toxemias (poisons) are the most important primary and contributing causes of many disorders and the diseases of the human body."

My Suggestions   by CatInWalks   7 year 2 of 2 (100%)

Hi,

It's an old thread but still. I am 61 and have bowel disease. What worked me is that I found chaga mushroom few years ago. I don't know, how much do you know about it, but I would suggest you to find more information. My disease went pretty quickly and it took about 3 months to get the 2nd stage. It was devastating for me and my family. However, if I started consuming chaga mushroom products (mainly tea), the symptoms paused. If I remember correctly, then I got the information about chaga on Chaga101.com. I really suggest you to read more about chaga. It helped me alot. I hope you'll get extra years too!
