Irritant Contact Dermatitis Definition   by #56153   19 year

Irritant Contact Dermatitis is a type of eczema triggered by frequent contact with toxic substances, such as detergents and chemicals, which are irritating to the skin. Common professions affected by this form of eczema are hair dressers, and other people working everyday with toxic chemicals.

It most commonly occurs on the hands of adults and can be prevented by avoiding the irritants and keeping the skin moisturized.

Improved diet and Liver Flushing can increase one's ability to tolerate chemicals.
