This is one of two breast cancer testimonials that I have. I will be happy
to fax the other one since it is not in my database. Please note that I
am in no way suggesting that someone quit seeing their doctor and
just take ellagic acid. I am not a doctor, I am simply a healer and 
researcher who is trying to get this message out there. Please

Arom Lyyski's breast cancer Ellagic Acid testimonial

22 October 1999 - Consulted with a General Surgeon and it was determined
that the lump in her breast needed to be removed and a biopsy taken.

27 October 1999 - Breast biopsy performed and lump removed.

01 November 1999 - Result of biopsy was positive for cancer.

12 November - 1999 At the recommendation of the general surgeon we
went ahead with a Lumpectomy and a sampling of a lymph gland.

15 November 1999 - Started taking Ellagic Acid Red 21 (3 morning, 
2 afternoon, 3 bedtime), Started taking Livosin to help assist the liver,
(6 per day; 3 morning, 3 evening).

18 November - The results of the Lumpectomy and Lymph Glands were
positive on the surrounding tissue of the breast and 7 of 18 positive lymph
glands. The diagnosis is---advanced Stage 3 cancer.

Recommendation: Full breast mastectomy, followed with radiation and 
chemotherapy as soon as possible.

Decision: Get a second opinion from an Oncologist.

23 November 1999 - Went for a lung scan just to be sure.

26 November - 1999 - Went in for a bone scan just as a precaution. 
Consulted with an Oncologist and received the same reccomendation.
Asked him if he would do the blood work (CA 27:29, Breast Cancer)
and he would.

Had blood taken after leaving the Oncologist office.

30 November 1999 - Lung scan and Bone scan both are negative. 
Blood test results are received. CA 27.29 preferred range is less
than <37.7, her results were 14.9!

CANCER FREE!

My research explores chemical carcinogenesis with a special interest in the 
role of dietary factors in modulating carcinogenesis. We have examined the 
mechanisms through which dietary zinc deficiency increases carcinogenesis and 
the mechanisms through which dietary ellagic acid reduces carcinogenesis. 
These studies have demonstrated that dietary zinc deficiency increases the 
cytochrome P-450-dependent activation of carcinogens while ellagic acid 
inhibits P-450-dependent carcinogen activation. We have also demonstrated 
that dietary ellagic acid induces a number of Phase II cellular 
detoxification enzymes that detoxify activated carcinogens. In addition, we 
have demonstrated that ellagic acid also binds to DNA and prevents the 
attachment of DNA adducts to the O6 position of guanine. Our current studies 
continue to examine the mechanisms involved in the transcription regulation 
of the Phase II detoxification enzymes by anticarcinogens, as well as the 
changes in the regulation of these detoxification enzymes during normal 
development.
