2nd master cleanse, 14 days, pre MC blog

Date:   9/3/2007 10:56:28 PM ( 15 y ago)

I posted here about 4-5 months ago on my first master cleanse. Since then I have maintained my weight with the excepi on of family vacations, 4 seperate vacations since then. I'm going to weigh my myself tmrw for my official starting weight. HEre are my goals:

1-Detox from sugars and the need to eat like i did on family vacations. While I didn't eat in excess, I did create a pattern of eating beyond hunger.
2-Remove need for constant eating and food desires
3-Assist in bowel elmination. I started steady colonics 5 months ago and noticed at the same time my vacations started I stopped having good eliminations. I want to increase what I'm eliminating.
4-Weight Loss.. I have family pictures in 2 months and would love to be down about 40 lbs for those pictures. I'm not sure that is possible but I'll take what I can get...i.e. i'll listen to my body and see where that takes me.
5-Save money.. I"m so broke with all the family vacations and a diet can't get much cheaper than lemons, water, cayenne pepper and molasses....
6-Sense of accomplishment... I'm ready to accomplish something good again.. I've had several little wins and I'd like to challenge myself again. I'm not sure how long to do this for.. most go 11 days..but I'm considering going longer and would like to get feedback on doing it longer.. what considerations I need to make, amd I'm looking for stories of those who have done it longer..

I would like to lose 6 lbs in a week and if i do this for 2 weeks that will put me at 12 lbs.. which is a great start but only 1/4 of what i want to lose..for that reason i'd lke to do it longer.. i'm also considering doing the MC for the first 2 weeks, then juicing for the rest of the 1.5 months.. for that i'll need to buy a juicer.. we'll see how this goes.. i'd like to see feedback on doign longer.. i dont want to go to extreme... but my minimum commitment is 14 days
