more prep

Date:   9/9/2007 7:43:43 PM ( 17 y ago)

I really haven't written in here as much as I wanted to for prep. That is ok though, because I really haven't done that much to prep. I've mostly cut out the caffeine, besides a cup or so of tea. I've been picking up any herbal teas that look yummy. I tried a MC drink today, and I think I put too much pepper in it because it made my stomach feel funny. So I guess I'll be jumping into this fast feet first, and see how I do. I'm really good about food except for when I'm at work. Like this weekend where I went to town on a fried egg each morning. Occasionally I have not so healthy food at home, but for the most part not. I've just about completely cut out meat, not so bad for me because I really like vegetables. I've been using soy milk, but just ran out today. I'm debating whether or not to buy more, because I don't want it to go bad. I'm not sure that it would go bad, but I love my blueberrie smoothies with banana or oranges and honey. Could be alot of temptation. Especially since its still liquid.

I've been sick too, either a really bad headcold or a mild flu. All the kids plus all the staff at work are sick, literally everyone. I was sick before I walked in there, then sicker when I left. This has been a very unproductive weekend to say the least. Now I'm behind on my school work which is stressful, and crazy stuff going on at the job, also stressful. It's all gonna be ok though. =) Sometimes bad stuff happens and I freak, but things somehow always work themselves out for the best. I might *crosses fingers* be getting a research assistant position in a neuroscience lab, which would just be sooo ideal.

Anyways, I'll try to update more often than I have been. I'm running out the door now to go to church (gotta love the campus church), so I need to go. =)
