Stopping the Leaks

The Leaks in every area
of my life can be fixed
one at a time.

Februry 6, 2007

Sitting at the table with Ang
and N. last night. N. is a vegetarian.
I told her how much I enjoyed a can of
pineapple slices with the juice yesterday
afternoon. How refreshing!

I have been eating a lot of meat.
I generally do when my bowel is irritated
and my energy is leaking out.

I have a hard time just doing nothing.
It equates with failure in my life.

N. was saying that she thought exercise would help.
I did not speak, but I jumped in my head
to the evaluation that I do not like my body.
I refuse to exercise my body.
I do not like how it performs.
I gave up on it a long time ago.

Judith loves her body even though it has cancer.
He is grateful for every day.
She has been on borrowed time for eight years
so to speak. She says the longest survivor for cancer
is 24 years in the guinness book of records.

She has survived 26 years.

There are a few instances in my life where I thoroughly
enjoy my body, where it serves well and gives me and
Beloved great pleasure.

For the most part, I am not kind.
I will not walk it. I will not give it time.

I will work before enjoying, or even enjoying it
in the garden.

This morning I had a hard time getting out of bed.
I was so hungry before bedtime. I ate some toast
and before that an English Muffin with Follow Your Heart
spread.

I was beating myself up all night mentally
with various traumas tightening my guts.
I was up about five times at least evacuating.

The Limbic Balance Formula seems to help.
I took one of those early this morning,
the Day Formula for Depression and ADD.
I can feel an effect.

One of the things I beat myself up around
was "Trusting the Plumber" rather than trusting
my own Common Sense and Intuition.

Cutty is a great person. He was the second plumber
to come by to look at our leaks that have been
making a beam in the basement right under the bathrub
sopping wet.

Rainbow came out last week. He tightened down the toilet.
Cutty showed that the leak was definitely not coming from the
toilet when he came over here on Saturday.

There was an element of mysterious and disappointment
with the plumbing.

Cutty and I could hear a stream of water excaping through some pipe
in the basement. We both could not figure that one out.
It was not near the sopping wet beam in the basement under
the bathtub.

Then, the meter was indicating water was running.
Cutty was able to see that clearly.

Cutty could see that there was a wetspot in the back of
the toilet. He cut into the valve area neatly that controls
a valve that runs water into the bathtub.

[Ouch! 9:01 AM...got to go to the bathroom...
hurt. Be right back!]

Cutty was convinced there was a BIGGER problem
that this little leak from the valve. He did not
want to fix the little leak that was clearly getting
water on the floor in back of the toilet and above
that beam. He said the little leak was like a
cut, when somewhere else there was a broken arm
that had to be fixed.

Cutty advised me to call in the Advanced Detection Services.
Bill Carlson showed up with a box, and inside some tools.
One was a sophisticated Stethoscope with some extra gadgets.
I am sure anyone with a stethoscope could have done the same thing.

It cost $200.00 to find out that I that sound of running water
was a hose outside to the garden that was not turned off completely.

The problem turned out to be that little cut, as Cutty described it.
All we had to do was change that valve.

Bill gave some added information. The cold water valve, that
connects into the bathtub valve nearby was leaking even in the off
position. Both it and the bathroom valve needed to be replaced.

Hopefully Cutty will come by after work today and do that.

This morning I used some common sense and just put that bathroom
value in the open position so the water would run down the drain
in the tub rather than excape into the wall.

I experimented with releaving the pressure and divering the
water to go out the drain.

It appears to be working.

It just took a little common sense to figure that out.

I am about to go down into the basement to see if diverting
the water has kept water from leaking out onto the beam.

I felt good about having that common sense.

Stopping the Leaks:

All night long I have been having nightmares
about uncomfortable conversations around adjusting
the Utilities.

Then, late at night, Rick Berry called
and asked if I needed any carpet cleaning...
ALSO when was I going to complete on my promise
to make him a website????????

That is another leak.

Leaks.
Leaks.
Leaks.

What strategy can I apply today
to apply information to the Utility
and Rain adjustment tasks so I do not
have my energy leaking out all over the place?

My own plumbing inside is not working as it should
because I have some many things going that I am not
on top of my own energy flow.

My energy is leaking out.

I have to get on top of my energy through
focus and dealing with what must be done.

I also need to make some plans today
for the Natural Product Expo...getting the room.

There are things I need to do for that show now...
I also need to give myself the time I need
to succeed with the Utility and Rent Revision.

There is information and details I need to work
out so I feel confident.

This morning I pulled the jumper out from under
the bed. I jumped on it.

I am going to do more of that.

Calling the Taoist Sanctuary and taking a class
in ChiQong would help regulate my system.

Step at a time, Leslie.

Be kind to yourself.

The Leaks can be fixed
one at a time.
