I was impatient to get all possible cleanses done on myself, and I decided to start with a fast. So, in December 2006, I started planning... Feel free to comment!

December 2006
I'm a 22-year-old from Australia, 160cm and 55-60kg.
I had wanted to go on a fast for quite a while as a prelude to a whole host of cleanses, and when I read Kevin Trudeau's book 'Natural Cures "They" Don't Want You To Know About' the second time I thought, oh, maybe I should finally get myself over to it.
Immediately I started looking for information. It wasn't quite that readily available online as I expected, but I read a couple of blogs here on CureZone, and researched the websites I found - both in English and Finnish, an advantage to be able to learn fasting traditions in two different languages - and also made a nice long international call to my mum, and she told me a couple of useful ideas and experiences from when I was younger and she went on fasts.
Initially I was super motivated to go for a full month-long juice fast straightaway, but after reading several recommendations not to do so as a first-timer I, although very disappointed, decided to settle for a week with the appropriate week-long pre and post fasting weeks. Somehow shortening the plan up felt like a big sacrifice, I was so looking forward to feeling fantastic right from early in the year, but since we seem to have skipped the whole season of summer this year in Queensland Australia, no need to whip myself to get into bikini shape... hah.
No, honestly, I'm not in it for the weight loss, even though it sounds nice, female as I am. I'm of normal weight and look and feel relatively healthy, simply need to get into a regular exercise routine before it's too late. The main reason I want to do a juice fast is that I want to get myself absolutely completely cleaned outside and in of all the poo (literally, too) that I've gathered in me over the years, and a fast is a fantastic way to get it all started! Since starting to eat organic and be overall more healthy I've got rid of my tuberculosis-like persisting flu symptoms, but a very nasty dandruff has managed to stay for a couple of years now, so if this fast won't get rid of it I'm even more keen to go through a candida cleanse!
I first thought to be crazy / brave and start my fast on the 1st of January 2007, as I knew I wouldn't be partying too hard for New Years (I'm 22-and-a-half at present, but due to who knows what my hangovers, even after only a couple, have started to reach rediculous measures, so I've had to restrict myself dramatically. And oh how difficult it can be to remember the reason for that decision - for too many weekends I did go for quite a few Bundy&Cokes thinking that it'll be fine... But enough pain made me finally learn I guess...), but I've just finished work in the end of week 3 and I thought it would simply be easiest if I timed the fast to when I wasn't working any more. I'm moving up North to Cairns in two weeks so there is a bit of unnecessary stress for the time, but I simply don't have more patience with this. I already can't wait for my month-long fast planned for April!
