Day 15 - Time to Break by th1366 .....

I'm breaking my fast today after two weeks. I am so proud of all that I accomplished and what I've learned about my body.

Yesterday was my worst day yet. I so wanted to stop but Zoebess said that the energy my body would need for digestion is being used up by the heavy detoxing I am going through so I decided to hold out one more day. I left work early because I was barely functioning. I am under a lot of pressure there from people who know what I'm doing. It's hard to hide the changes your body goes through during this process when you work in a small office with people you've worked side by side with for 12 years. One week I was on top of the world and then this last, I was literally dragging. It didn't help that I had trouble putting two sentences together. On top of that, I lost ten pounds in two weeks and it's obvious. I wish I could just take 2-3 weeks off the next time and go through this in solitude.

Today, I'll just drink OJ. I tried juicing some oranges but they weren't very good so my husband bought me some Simply Juice. It has only juice but it is pasteurized. It will have to do for today. Even watered down, it tastes so good. I have everything I need to make the soup and am so looking forward to it. I couldn't sleep last night so I took an epsom salt bath and browsed through cook books. My challenege is going to be making healthy meals that my husband will want to eat with me. He's a meat and potato man. He's good at fending for himself in the kitchen so if he doesn't like what I make, he can make his own dinner!

I'm off to work. Hopefully, I'll be functioning better. I've got some catching up to do.
