What today will be like is up to me.

Greetings...
Okay, I have to confess that yesterday was a pretty brutal day for me. I had a dull throbbing headache all day and my cravings for food were quite distracting. I don't drink coffee or soda so I wasn't experiencing caffeine withdrawal, but something was really off tilt for me yesterday. However, I did preserver and am on day two. Hopefully this will be a better day. It would have been so easy for me to give in and quit or put off the cleanse for a later date, but sometimes familiarity and comfort need to be challenged. One thing for sure, doing this blog and checking into the Zone is a tremendous help in maintaining my focus.
I slept very well last night, but should have gone to bed earlier in order to get more sleep due to the initial detox I am experiencing. As a result, I am a bit tired today but do feel somewhat better than yesterday. Another thing to note, the 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne is really moving some gunk out of my body. I know from experience that at first it is a bit uncomfortable, but it becomes more tolerable as the days pass. It is also a great feeling to know that all this built up gunk and toxins are being eliminated. I've realized since my false start in April that I must be capable of changing and rearranging my priorities so that my final goal can be achieved. Bottom line, this is one of those times that I have to be strong and not settle for compromise in order to achieve the positive change I am seeking.
Make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take from it everything that you possibly can, for you may never be able to experience it again.
Peace and happiness
