Day 9 and Liver Flush by peanut74 .....

Night of Day 9 started a Liver Flush

Date:   7/4/2006 11:24:56 AM ( 18 y ago)

Day 9 went alright. I had a headache off and on and lacked energy. My BMs continued to be bright yellow so I decided to do a liver flush that night. I knew I was unlikely to remove many stones since your bile production reduces significantly while MCing.

I started with the epsom salts at 6 pm per the Clark recipe. They are brutal. I had explosive BMs all night. The epsom salts completely dehydrated me (you aren't allowed to drink until morning or you'll get sick).

After reading the liver flush forum I found some people substitute the morning epsom salts with a SWF and still have success. I did and am so glad. The SWF isn't nearly as drying on the system. I still have one more SWF to go at 10 am (it's currently 9:15 PST).

So far I have passed about 20 stones. Four of them were at least marble sized. I also passed large quantities of bright yellow BM (more liver toxins). Woke up with a pounding headache but the SWF has made it much better. Hopefully the ten o'clock flush will get rid of it completely.

I definitely need to do a series of liver flushes when I'm done with the MC but hope this one will help some of my detox symptoms in the meantime. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone because the lack of food followed by the quick flush makes you so run down. I'll post later to say if I bounce back quickly.

Happy 4th of July,
Peanut

PS The rain outside suits how I feel right now.
