Starting Over

My name is Matt, 28 years old, living in the state of Florida. This is my first time ever posting anything on a blog, let alone even keeping a journal, so bear with me and my apologies. Brief background is that over the past years my diet and personal addictions have finally caught up to me. In the fact that my health and emotional status has begun to deteriorate. Through heavy drinking, smoking, and various drug use I feel as if every day is a chore unto itself. Well, I have finally made the concrete decision that a change needs to be made, which after doing some research, my first resolution will be a 30 day water and lemon fast, which started last night around 7:00pm. Day one is complete. Reasons why I chose a fast is many, not necessarily the weight, being 6 foot and clocking in at 195lbs, but for the detoxification purposes. Believe me if anybody needs to flush a system I would be a prime candidate. I will keep this short and sweet and check in tomorrow night, and every night thereafter, to stay informed on how “The Fast” is going. Day one so far has been a piece of cake. MMMM… Cake
