HONEY, haven't you heard????

I finally reached Harpo after several days of finding no one at home. . . I was beginning to worry about him, as I always do. Seems I always subconsciously fear that one day he won't be there.
So when I heard his voice, my heart sprung for JOY!

"Merry Christmas!" he said in the unmistakeable Harpo voice. . .

I said, "I'm so glad you answered the phone! Where WERE you??????"

He said: "HONEY! Haven't you HEARD?

I said: NO! Heard what???"

He said: "There are hungry people-- homeless people in the world! I can't sleep at night knowing that I could be helping someone. . . If I find myself laying awake at night, I know it's because I haven't helped enough people!!!"
