Day 1, Part I - The Beginning by skinnyfatguy .....

First salt water chug, BM, and lemonade go reasonably well.

5:00am - Woke up with excitement. Ready to get the juices flowing,ha ha. I mixed the 32 oz. sea salt chug and downed it in three chugs. Its not easy to slam 32oz. of any liquid, let alone warm salt water. I damn near tossed it right back up.

5:15am - Mixed up 30 oz. of lemonade for the morning and lunch. It smells good. I am eager to try it.

5:30am - Went back to bed to lie down. Waiting for the belly rumbles. No troubles yet.

5:40am - Still no rumbles.

5:50am - No Poo yet.

6:01am - Yahtzee! But not quite the motherload BM I was expecting. In fact I have had better blowouts from about 3 hotdogs and 6 Old Styles at a Cubs game. But the process worked and now I can start my day.

6:20am - Jump in the shower.
6:23am - Jump out of the shower, back to the throne. Not done yet.
6:31am - Back in th shower, all clear.

6:57am - Arrive at work. Immediately I feel the coffee impulse triggered just by walking in the door. No coffee might be toughest vice of all to give up. Oh well, just shake it off and have some lemonade.

7:20am - I try the lemonade. Its good. Drink it down and am satisfied, for now.

8:45am - First real Nicotine withdrawel pain. For those who smoke and have tried to quit the withdrawel pains are familiar. This one isn't bad. Bad is when you rush outside and search the ground for an already smoked butt. One that has just enough of the tobacco left on it to catch a couple drags. I am not at that point yet and I hope I don't get there. I have always been a light smoker and have quit for extended periods of time before. This time I intend to make it stick.

9:30am - Second glass of Lemonade. OK, the novelty has definately worn off. I want to eat food. This is going to be tough.

10:02am - Oh, no he didn't! A guy who works with me just walked by with a McDonalds bag. The smell of a melted cheese-like substance sandwiched with egg inside an english muffin. Ooh that's good sniffin'. Hashbrowns, forget about it. I'm cool though. I'm good.

10:17am - Weighed myself. 209 lbs. I would love to get down to 195 but we will see. The weight is not the biggest issue, its the bad habits.

Going to report on the remainder of Day 1 tomorrow morning.
