This fast was very hard this weekend. I had to battle all weekend long and I looked forward to coming in this Monday.

I tried to write on day 6 but my home computer network was down because we are going wireless. We didn’t get that resolved so I wasn’t able to write at all this weekend. Sorry!

Let’s start out with that salt water flush I did on Saturday. Let’s just say I’m not interested in doing that again, nor is Scott. While we both got the desired result there were also some other “side effects” that we were not prepared for, like partial salt absorption that made us feel like crap. We vowed to never do it again.

Well I came to the decision that if I didn’t drink more juice on the weekend than I had been doing during the week I was never going to be able to make it through. So I drank more juice, in fact I drank some of Scott’s pasteurized juice because I felt so miserable and deprived. This fast was very hard this weekend. I had to battle all weekend long and I looked forward to coming in this Monday.

Anyway…I will keep you updated about the ups and downs of week 2!!! Woo Hoo!
