day 3 blues by Q_t .....

This is what happens when you don't get enough sleep...

You wake up in a semi-comatose state, you feel too tired to oil-swish, you take a shower and still feel tired, end up taking longer to get ready and wind up late for work.

The tone of the day was dull. Drank a cup of ACV with cayenne, echinacea and burdock and a cup of lemon and ginger powder - tasted just like the tea but stronger.

Ate 2 kiwis, half a pineapple and figs - too many of them! won't buy them for a while. They are very sweet and healthy, but too much of a good thing should be avoided.

I have my cup of multi-herb tea for circulation, lymph, kidneys and probably helps everything else that follows but generally targeting those first 3 areas. I should be having at least 3 cups a day - currently stuck at 1. Stuck isn't such a bad thing. It's strong stuff. My tastebuds are already freaked out by it so I guess I will need some time to get accustomed. I thought of a way of building up my tolerance to the tea by leaving the herbs in the pot after brewing and adding a fresh batch to it. This makes a stronger brew than a fresh batch on its own. You can leave the herbs for as long as the herbs are smelling fresh.

Left work on an empty stomach and went shopping. Didn't feel the need to eat but felt like I should force myself for some unknown reason. It was only later that I started feeling very slightly dizzy for a few secs indicating my lack of fuel but I was in no way energy-less. I hunted around for a healthy snack but nothing was reasonably priced so I headed back home where I steamed fresh salmon and veg with lots of herbs & sea salt. When you want to grab a quick snack, it's so dissapointing. You're either very limited or charged a fortune. I couldn't wait to get home and prepare something a lot cheaper and fulfilling.
