)--Fire Mountain Beverage Company announces today that it will provide corporate sponsorship for the 39th Annual Los Angeles-Watts Summer Games (http://www.lajcc.org/lawsg/), the largest high school athletic competition in the nation, by donating over 13,000 bottles of its water to athletes participating at the games

According to Anthony Miller, CEO, "This is the second year of our sponsorship and it is our goal here to continue to support the elite high-school athletes who are standouts in Los Angeles county and the surrounding regions, by giving back to markets that support our brands. This event helps to accomplish one of our objectives, promoting healthy living through our products and education. This event, held at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California and many other supporting facilities, is a great way to support the community and increase brand awareness for our products. More than 10,000 athletes, coaches, spectators, and volunteers from all over northern and southern California participate in these Games. We are joining other sponsors like Disney, UPS, Chevrolet, Home Depot, Honda, Toyota, Clear Channel and Aetna Insurance to help support the athletes' positive efforts. Young athletes such as Jamaal Wilkes, Florence Griffith Joyner, John Elway, Lisa Leslie, Valerie Brisco Hooks, Vince Ferragamo, and Byron Scott, to name a few, have participated in these games. Athletes will compete in 17 sports events including basketball, soccer, football, baseball, softball, cheerleading, wrestling, water polo, volleyball, tennis, and track & field. Our beverages will be their source of hydration and rejuvenation and we will use this platform for sampling of our new products that will be launched in the next few weeks."
