The San Francisco Center for the Book (SFCB) hosts "50 Books/50 Covers," a lively, informative exhibition at the Center's Austin/Burch Gallery. The exhibit will display the nation's best designed books and book covers, October 27 through December 1, 2006. Join the Center for an opening night reception on Friday, October 27, 2006, 6pm-8pm.

The San Francisco Center for the Book is a non-profit organization dedicated to exploring and encouraging contemporary interpretations of the book as an art object, as well as preserving the traditional art of book-making. The center provides both a home for Bay Area book artists and a place where the wider community can discover book arts.
