Day 26~A Little Late by hopinso .....

The day started out well, but went downhill in the afternoon.

The day started well. I was able to get up and down with no snags and little pain. I took my supplements, alternated between bed and computer and felt pretty good. About 11 a.m. I called my neighbor to see if she could help me do some grocery shopping. No small town stores today, we headed for the city and a large discount grocery store. I had to use an electric cart, but it was still nice to have a choice of what I wanted. I was not prepared to see haw much prices had gone up though. Everything, including gasoline, is so much more expensive than it was a month ago. I bought as much as I felt I could afford and drove home. I got the groceries in the house, although not necessarily put up, I still have apple juice, bananas, and a bag of oranges in the living room (but to me that's handy, so they may stay there).

Things started to go downhill in the late afternoon. The pain became worse and my ability to move went downhill fast. The detox footpads I ordered came in the mail, so I used them last night for the first time. I don't know if it was the shopping, the carrying of the bags, or the footpads, but I had a whole new kind of pain last night. The shin of my left leg would have shooting pains that made me scream out. It was some of the worst pain I ever felt. My left knee is still locked and I can't straighten it, I don't know if its related or not. So far this morning I've had my supplements, did the neck traction and am waiting to see if I can see the doctor later on. The pain is pretty bad all over, but its a damp day with rain expected, and that usually means more pain than usual. By the way, the detox foot pads were black this morning. I wish I understood more about how they work. More research to do later today.
