Day 15 by cheezerman .....

Honey is my enemy, but Lucid Dreams are my savior!

Today I had no work or school, so I slept in until 12:00!

Such late sleeping is UNHEARD OF for me, but I felt I needed to. I didn't actually sleep until then, I just was dreaming, sort of like a deep meditation.

It was then that I had my best lucid dream to date! I was dreaming a fairly realistic dream, with lots of details and not so abstract, when I realised, with the help of some dream characters, that I was dreaming. I "woke up" which is a misnomer really because what I really did was start controlling with my conscious mind, the dream world, including the character I was playing (myself in a dream state).

Usually at this point I lose focus or freak out and wake up and lose most memories, but this time I was calm and collected, and I walked through my dream world, at first changing the enviroment around me ( because I could) but then just letting my sub-conscious do that for me, while I experienced the feeling of lucid dreaming.

It was amazing, and then I gently slipped back into sleep, just long enough to make the (often abrupt and disturbing) transition back into a waking state.

I can say with absolution, that fasting helped me experience this lucid dream.

The rest of the day wasn't as nice.

I was having HUGE cravings, so I decided to allow myself some raw honeycomb, so I could have something to chew on. I ended up eating about 1/4 cup of the honeycomb, spitting out the wax of course.

Soon after I had the worst stomachache ever, and I felt horrible the rest of the day.

Moral of the story: Honey isn't a good thing while fasting (at least for me)
