"script your life" , encouraging dependancy on phamceuticals

Ads on TV that say "Script your life" can only mean one thing - they are saying drugs should run your life, alluding to writing the plan for your life, i.e being happy thru chemicals. And they are available at Wal Mart, come get what you want.

The ads were like this:
"get your pills at Wal Mart because you are there anyways, so you save time. That way, you can have more time to enjoy life [pictures of outside games w/mom]

Go ahead, 'Script your life - the Pharmacy at Wal Mart "

They are suggesting we take drugs as a way to ensure that we are in control of our lives because we make the choice of what drugs to take, at Wal Mart.

Maybe Wal Mart is going to sell illicit drugs , or pharmaceuticals without a prescription needed? They could get away with it I bet.

It just seems so sick to be seeing these pharaceutical ads, but this one hits at the idea that everyone needs some pills. remember, headaches are not caused by a lack of aspirin, meaning pills just treat symptoms and the causes of illness are never looked at.

Not only would looking at the causes be the highest scientific advancement, but it would be doing service to the most people, especially over time, if the causes of illness became clear enough that we could avoid or treat them 100% effectively.

But you have heard that before, its a mantra eh. Treating symptoms creates life long customers, its the corporate perogative. Corporations have no business in health care, not if it is an essential human need, for everyone, its the one thing this world could say yes to - we want health care.

And thats why they run these ads that clearly say "get drugged", legally.
