Herpes needs to be addressed on many levels- herpes is largely an emotion driven disease. How you feel about having herpes, how well you handle stress and how much support and understanding you have from your inner circle, about your herpes, can determine how well you fare with the disease. Herpes also can change quite significantly during the course of someone's history so any long term holistic management startegy would would have to be flexible enough to deal with the evolutionary nature of the presenting symptoms. No two people experience herpes the same way so it's unempowering to spend too much time and energy comparing yourself to how others are doing. If you are committed to incrementally improving each day and not allowing set-backs to devastate you, you will be able to end the cycle of regular outbreaks.
