Is this a joke?

Now, having said that...  it's actually mentioned in the Bible on several occassions where people eat their poop.  I alluded to this in a blog entry:  "The Last Supper - What's on the Menu Again?"

Ezekiel 4:12:   You shall eat it as barley cakes, and you shall bake it in their sight with dung that comes out of man. 

Ezekiel 4:15:  Then he said to me, Behold, I have given you cow's dung for man's dung, and you shall prepare your bread thereon.

There's several more places where the verses says something about eating their own poop and drinking their own piss.  Got your appetite going yet?

I wonder if this is what David Wolfe is referring to in the above interview.
