One Method I use to Defeat the Negative Self-Talk

Several months ago I learned a wonderful technique for fighting the negative thought patterns that most of us have. It is a great method which I have termed the cancel method. Many thanks and blessings to the friend who passed it along. The best part is that it is really easy. Any time you have a negative thought say out loud or to yourself cancel cancel and then thank God and the universe for making it so. This is based on the premise that there is a lag time between the time we think of something and when it is created. This lag time is a safety net that allows each of us to cancel those thoughts that we really don’t want to create for ourselves. If you so choose, you can even go a step further and replace that negative thought with a positive one.
We all must remember the power of our thoughts. As co-creators, our thoughts are manifested into experiences. And if you’re tired of having negative experiences that bring you nothing but misery and pain, then start canceling out all of the negative thoughts that created them.
It may seem difficult at first, but as you begin to cancel out all of these negative thoughts you will soon realize over time that the negative thoughts get less and less. Eventually, you will be left with only the good ones.
I happen to use the cancel method all the time now. I am no longer haunted by negative thoughts and the fears they used to create. Saying cancel is like taking an eraser and wiping them away. Try it some time and see if it helps you as much as it has helped me and if it does pass it along to others.
