It has something to do with coming prewired, and then our physical biological needs... The social pressure is also a key factor...

Some things in life are some what prearranged.... Like our sexua| preference for the opposite sex...   There is a mystery there that we want to be involved in or with...

1) There is the basic biological urges that come upon us at early ages, {teen years} these can cause many problems if not kept in check...  We are all familiar with the early pregnancy and the resulting parenthood requirements forced upon those who refused to wait for a better time and place...

Remember it is not the who and how, but the when and the where!!

2) Our programs are set to be observant of the opposite sex and we have to learn how to react with them....  This is true if you are male or female...  There are certain traits and desires of either sex...  It becomes important to know how to interact with the opposite  sex; if we are to live a balanced and productive life...  Our cooperation with the opposite sex leads to a more productive life, not only for us as individuals but the society as a whole... 

So the why is more of learning how to deal with the opposite sex...  We will have many chances to get it right...  So lets start paying attention to the ways of the opposite sex; and we will come be be better all round people....  The opposite sex will come to like you better too...
