In a post several month ago (check: Stretching Good or Bad?) i already wrote about stretching and its potential risks. I just found an article about stretching that confirms my views and is worth to read at:

Stretch Yourself
Stretching and Injuries
by Thomas Kurz, author of Stretching Scientifically, Secrets of Stretching, Science of Sports Training, and co-author of Basic Instincts of Self-Defense.
Almost all of my patients (the ones that do some kind of sport at least) also do stretching at times because they have been told to do in order to `warm up` before the exercises start.
Interesting for me is that their Back Pain improved often by simply stopping to stretch for a while.
That, together with other findings in my research shows that stretching, as most things in life, can be either beneficial or harmful it just depends......
Read the Blog Message about stretching I posted earlier and check the re-alignment exercises in my website: http://www.dorn-method.com that I recommend to everyone before any stretching is done.
