...a ditty sung with a blues twang (think Arlo Guthrie singin' "Alice's Restaurant")

I got the barefoot walkin' blues
Gone and thrown away my shoes...
Yeh, I got the barefoot walkin' blues!

Went to the Nature Center to do my walkin'
Found too many people jest standin' 'round talkin'!

I got stickers in my toes
and sunburn on my nose...

I got blisters on my feet,
Can't take too much more heat!

My hips are a ache-'n
and my knees are a shakin'!

My ankles done wore out,
but my butt's so much less stout!
